Beautiful spot in the heart of Santa Fe

This place is stunning! The architecture is so rich in history, and the lobby and restaurant are gorgeous. It's right by the plaza, which is super convenient for exploring. The rooms are pretty, but the view we got was just rooftops and AC units. parking’s kinda pricey at $30 a night.

The bed was very confortable and the fabrics of good quality. I tried the restaurant and I found both the food and the service to be above average (as are the prices). The location is really excellent, just in front of the Cathedral. Free Wi-Fi works fine.

Breakfast was not included and parking is USD 12.00 per day. Other 3 stars hotels close by offer free parking. I turned to the concierge for a car rental and she was not very useful. In general I found the staff friendly but not well informed/willing to help. There were no towels in the room at the time of my arrival and I had to change the key because it failed in opening the door after one day stay.

The location is marvellous, within walking distance of Trinity.

Superb location right on the plaza. The room had a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, and great decor with Indian crafts. Amazing restaurant with delicious food. Spa facilities included hot tub, sauna, and massage options. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Perfect for exploring nearby restaurants, shops, and museums.

Location, location, location. 100 ft. from the town's square and primary shopping zone. Easy walking distance to Canyon Road galleries.

This is a very old hotel that is really showing its age. Everything about our room, the hallway and elevators needs to be remodeled/upgraded/refurbished. The hotel lobby restaurants and other common areas can get by on their history and "old world charm", but there is no excuse for the condition of the rooms. I think the carpet must have been put in when the hotel was new! Also, the hotel was advertised as "pet friendly". That must not include the guests bring their pets. We have three very-well house-broken small dogs, and the hotel charged us $75/day for the dogs. For a 5-day stay, that amounted to $375. Very excessive.

This place has a killer location super close to the heart of downtown, surrounded by awesome restaurants, cool art galleries, and great shopping spots. Don't miss out on checking out the Downtown district! 🛍️

Beautiful design, fun historic hotel, good pool area for kids, comfortable beds, awesome location.

Good staff, just not very friendly. Most rooms are king beds.. Not very many doubles for families/kids. Told me they had no adjoining rooms but all had doors for adjoining???

The location is amazing, right next to the restaurant and bar, social and cultural center, and slopes, which is fantastic for exploring and enjoying the area.

Great place to stay while in Santa Fe, you get the flavor of the city. Very nice staff, would recomend hotel to friends.

A/C needs upgrading!

La Fonda On The Plaza is an unbelievable property situated in the heart of Downtown Santa Fe, just a short walk away from the social and cultural center, an art gallery, and a charming fountain in the courtyard. The hotel offers top-notch service, and the delicious breakfast is a highlight of the stay. Additionally, convenient on-site parking is available.

Clean room with gorgeous views of the sunset. Unbeatable location right in the centre of town, classic style building. Based short walk to a wonderful shopping area off the plaza as well as the center of Santa Fe.

The service here was good, the building and rooms are lovely with a dresser to store clothing, and the location is very convenient and within walking distance of everything.

Great location, cool history

Bedroom temperature was extremely hot, even after adjusting thermostat AC to 60 degrees. Also some very loud guests running up and down the hallway kept us up all night. Definitely disappointed with our stay, especially for the cost of one night. Lack of sleep ruined our one night in Santa Fe.

The venue offers a clean space with an outstanding view of the Cathedral and mountains.
